eBooks for the iBooks store on the Apple iPAD

The revolution in digital readers has reached a new high with the Apple iPAD. Nightengale Press is delighted to be one of the INGRAM/LSI publishers offering this option to all our authors, and to new authors as well. The details of working with Apple are complicated, but in the simplest terms, this is where you want your eBooks to be. The iPAD is an innovation no other readers/laptops/mobile device can match.

For current Nightengale Press authors with TEXT-ONLY or BLACK AND WHITE INTERIOR titles published in tradepaper, your books can be converted for a revision fee of $225.

• A new layout of the your book's interior to accommodate the ebook specifications required by the Apple iPad.
• A new ISBN assigned to your eBook.
• Inclusion of the book's front cover on the iBooks store listing.

For an additional $35 fee, we can add your book's best review.

For current Nightengale Press authors with multiple text-only or black and white titles to convert, we will reduce the per book conversion costs  from $450 to $375 for two titles and from $675 to $540 for three titles or more.

For current Nightengale Press authors with COLOR INTERIOR titles published in tradepaper, your books can be converted for a revision fee of $350. Why more for color books? Because all the color imagery must be reworked for the iPAD coversion. And, please note that only the story portions of these books can be converted. Games, puzzles and other complex layouts cannot be used. These can be offered on your websites as printable, PDF downloads, however, and this will drive action to your sites.

For AUTHORS who want only an eBook created for the iPAD

For TEXT-ONLY or BLACK AND WHITE INTERIOR titles not published in tradepaper, your books can be created for eBooks only for a publishing fee of $575. Editing and proofreading is not included in the fee but can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

• A complete layout of the your book's interior to accommodate the ebook specifications required by the Apple iPad.
• A unique ISBN assigned to your eBook.
• Creation of the book's front cover for inclusion on the iBooks store listing.

For an additional $35 fee, we can add your book's best review.

For Authors with multiple text-only or black and white titles to create, we will reduce the per book creation costs  from $1150 to $920 for two titles and from $1725 to $1180 for three titles or more.

For with COLOR INTERIOR titles not published in tradepaper, your books can be created for eBooks only for a publishing fee of $750. Editing and proofreading is not included in the fee but can be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
